As Executive Director from 2010 to 2017 (co-ED from 2010-12), I helped Mindful Schools grow from a fledgling direct-service program to a leading organization in the Mindfulness & Education field with a strong reputation for quality.
As of January 2017, Mindful Schools had trained approximately 20,000 people worldwide, impacting over 800,000 children, and had nearly 300,000 followers on Facebook.
The rapid growth of 100x in impact and 10x in budget was accomplished over seven consecutive profitable fiscal years. We changed business models from direct service to physical training to online training, requiring me to step into a wide range of hands-on roles over the years.
I'm proud that we were able to achieve all this growth while maintaining exceptional quality and integrity, which is particularly challenging in the online training space:

• Rated 4.7/5.0 stars on Facebook with 481 reviews (as of Jan. 2017)

Before Mindful Schools, I worked for 7 years in Product and Program Management roles at NVIDIA Corporation, where I successfully ran challenging award-winning projects (some with over 100 people involved) on schedule with limited resources. These projects included authoring three bestselling computer graphics books, managing various software products, and developing software algorithms.
At NVIDIA, I was also fortunate to serve as an inaugural board member of the employee-run NVIDIA Foundation, which gave me experience building a charitable foundation from scratch, setting strategy, and reviewing grants.
Most of all, I've adhered firmly to my values throughout my career. Sincere intention, diligent effort, and kindness have been instrumental in accomplishing challenging goals with integrity.
